Our history

Before turning to business consulting, StudySmart built the professional-qualifications market in Greece.

From professional training to business consulting

Before it took on its current identity as a consulting, training and business-development company, StudySmart™ spent nearly two decades charting its own course in the professional training market. This section preserves that story, as published on our original website.

StudySmart™ was a unique organisation operating in the professional training, advisory and publishing fields. The company was founded by the late Dr. Constantine “Dino” Kiritsis in 2005 and was led by industry experts with 60+ years collective experience as entrepreneurs, leaders, educators, advisors, consultants and professional trainers.

Dr. Kiritsis set up and established the professional training market in Greece by offering and teaching ACCA, CIA, CFA, IFRS and other courses since 1998. He was also instrumental in establishing and promoting the first IFRS manuals in Greek in 2002, and set up professional training and an IFRS manual with PwC in Greece from 2008 to 2010 in association with the ICAEW.

In the field of professional training, StudySmart™ operated internationally in numerous European and Middle Eastern countries such as Serbia, Romania, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and others.

Preparing for professional exams

Over the preceding decade, employers on a global scale showed a remarkable shift towards professional qualifications, both in recruitment and in staff training. This is where StudySmart carried a serious competitive edge, differentiated by an ever-expanding spectrum of professional qualifications through its pool of trainers.

The main goal was to help students pass their exams and gain the skills and confidence to apply them in the workplace. Our experienced professional tutors were not only qualified, but also had working knowledge of the respective business functions, with immense experience teaching professional qualifications in more than 20 countries.

Curriculum development

StudySmart also had experience in programme development, having developed the first Mini MBA to be offered in Greece, which went on to be offered internationally in association with PwC, exclusively in the CEE and Middle Eastern regions. The programme was approved by the University of Northampton from the UK as equivalent to 50 Academic MBA credits.

Tailor-made curricula were developed for special projects for Mazars, DP World, Piraeus Bank and other major multinationals.

Working with our associates

StudySmart™ was proud to work with loyal professionals, our highly valued associate partners, who honoured their word and added value to our clients. Behind that success lay teamwork — which is why we worked with the same professionals for a significant number of years.

Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.

— Michael Jordan

A new direction – new prospects

Since 2023, following the company’s acquisition by a Greek investor with many years of experience in the food, retail and hospitality sectors in Greece, a new strategic vision took shape. Recognising the significant growth prospects of the consulting and professional training sector, the company invested dynamically in a new field of activity, with the aim of supporting hundreds of businesses in their growth and transformation.

This strategy marked the company’s transition from traditional group training and study production to a comprehensive model of consulting services. Today, the company offers specialised solutions in financial organisation, human resources management, business development and digital transformation.

Drawing on the most modern technologies, artificial intelligence, advanced data analysis systems and innovative educational methods, the company provides high-value-added services, helping businesses improve their competitiveness, increase their productivity and adapt effectively to the demands of the modern market.
